HAND HYGIENE

Gel Handwash

Application

- Apply one dose of Duogel antibacterial Handwash, massage into hands and wash under running water.
- Dry hands under an electric hand dryer. Alternatively use clean paper towels.

Hand Sanitizing Gel

- A colorless non-toxic, non-perfumed food safe and quick drying sanitizing gel.
- Comes with an ideal long nozzle dispenser pump for easy and convenient application.
- Contains emollients and lubricants to smoothen application and prevent drying of skin.

Application

- Effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, yeast and spores. - Ideal for hand sanitizing in medical, food, dental, veterinary and horticultural practice. - Apply 1-2 pump squirts of gel onto the palm of one hand and rub both hands together for at least 30 seconds.
- No need for water, towels or dryers. - Ideal for field work, offices, emergency operations and institutions.
- No progressive bacterial resistance with multiple uses.

Cloriscrub

Cloriscrub is an antbacterial skin cleansing preparation for pre-operative hand disinfection, antiseptic handwashing and pre- and post-operative skin disinfection for patients undergoing surgery.
Cloriscrub is ideal for use in hospitals and nursing homes.

Instructions for use

1. Pre-Operative Hand Wash and Disinfection: a. Wet forehands and arms, then apply Cloriscrub and rub for atleast one minute while cleaning under the fingernails with a soft brush. Rinse and repeat the whole process. Finally rinse with clean water and dry.
2. Pre-Operative Body Disinfection for surgical patients: a. Wash the entire body twice before and after the day of operation. Spread 30ml Cloriscrub starting from the face downwards to the whole body while paying particular attention to the areas around the nose, neck armpits, groin, navel and perineum (Space between the genitals and anus). Repeat the entire process with a further 30ml of Cloriscrub. Rinse with plenty of water and dry. For bed ridden patients use the standard bed-bath technique.
3. Post-Operative Body Disinfection for surgical patients: a. Wash the entire body excluding the operation site on day three following the operation as per procedure No.2.

Hand Spray

SKIN HYGIENE

Surgical Spirit

- A general purpose disinfectant that constricts the skin preventing dirt and grime from infecting the skin. - Has anhidroticastringent and rubacifient properties.
- Ideal for pre-injection surface disinfection.

Application

- Ideal for pre-injection skin disinfection.
- Can be used to harden the skin to prevent bed sores on patients.

Hydrogen Peroxide

- An oxygen based disinfectant that acts by oxidizing germs.

Application

Apply diluted on fresh cuts to stop bleeding and disinfect wounds. - Apply diluted solution to cotton wool or lint and cleanse the wound.
- Also used as a mouthwash and deodorant. Dilute one tablespoonful of Impact Hydrogen Peroxide in a glass of warm water then rinse the mouth 2-3 times 3 times a day.

Violet

- An anti-infective for local treatment of abrasions, minor cuts, surface injuries and superficial fungus infections of the skin.

Application

- An excellent application for candida albicans. Candida albicans is a fungus that may cause infection of the skin and/or mucus membrane in both children and adults. In children this yeast causes white patches in the mouth (thrush) or diaper rush.
- Clean the skin and apply directly to the wound or use cotton tipped applicator once or twice daily. Do not bandage.
- Medication will stain skin and clothing. For external use only.

- Ideal as a general purpose antiseptic cleanser.

Anti Jigger Spray Lotion

- A spray-able ready to use lotion to fight jigger infestation
- Suitable for personal carry and application

Application

- Wash affected areas with clean water and soap.
- Dry up - Apply Duogel anti-jigger lotion by pressing on the spray pump. Leave on until the next application.
- Apply 3 times a day for 2 weeks.

Anti Jigger Concentrate Lotion

Concentrate lotion for dilution
- Ideal for schools and medical camps

Application

- Wash affected areas with clean water and soap. - Dry up - Dilute 100ml concentrate in 5L of clean water.
- Soak feet for 15-20 minutes in the diluted solution.
- Repeat procedure 3 times a day for 2 weeks.
